And I'm not doing the story in script ne more.
Lucky and Trey sat down in a booth way in the back and ordered their food. Trey swallowed a cheeseburger, large fry, and chocolate shake. And Lucky ate a small fry with a vanilla caramel shake.
"You ready to go now??" Trey asked as he licked the chocolate from his full pink lips.
'Damn he's sexy' Lucky thought to herself. But she couldn't let it show.
"Yea, lets go."
They slid out of their booth and walked back to Trey's car.
"So." Trey started.
'Aw great, he's trynna make conversation now.'
"Where'd you get ya name from?? Lucky?? I mean...why do people call you that??"
Lucky sighed. She'd gone through this story so many times with so many different people. It was like a song she remembered.
"Well, I almost died when I was first born. Premature. The doctors didn't think I was gonna make it. But as you can see...I did. As long as I can remember my Nani has been callin me "Lucky" but my mama is the only one who calls me "Promise""
"You know Lucky. I think you're a tease." Trey had completely changed the subject on her.
"So" she shrugged. "I don't care. Niggas just get mad cuz they can't get the cookie. I don't know why they thought they could in the first place."
Trey raised his eyebrow.
"No. You make a nigga think you about to give it to him. And then you snatch it away...like you did me."
"Whatever Trey" Lucky rolled her eyes. "It was just in the heat of the moment. Nobody was trynna make you think anything. You're teasin yourself right now by having me spend the weekend. You think you bout to get lucky wit Lucky and you're not. I'm taken and happily."
"Man girl, whatever. If that was the case you just wouldn't be in the car with me. Regardless of what I'd do to you, and you and I both know this."
"Yea, whatever Trey." Lucky rolled her eyes. "Lets just get this weekend over with."
